Shipping Policy
At Pearldrop Essentials Co., we take great pride in the care we put into every order. Each candle is hand-packed individually to ensure it arrives safely at your door. We use protective packaging materials and follow best practices for shipping fragile handcrafted goods.
We currently ship to Canada and the United States only. We use multiple carriers depending on your location and order size. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
- Processing time: 1–3 business days after payment confirmation
- Estimated delivery: 5–7 business days from dispatch
- Carriers: Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator (depending on destination)
Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, peak seasons, or customs processing for US orders. We are not responsible for delays outside our control once an order has been dispatched.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are unable to redirect packages once dispatched and cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Damaged Items
We pack every order with care to ensure your candles arrive in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your package at orders@pearldrop.ca with:
- Your order number
- A clear photograph of the damaged item(s)
- A photograph of the packaging if also damaged
We will review your claim and issue a refund as applicable. Claims submitted after 3 days of delivery cannot be accepted.
Refund & Return Policy
Due to the handcrafted and perishable nature of our candles, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used candles.
Unused, unopened items in their original packaging may be eligible for store credit within 14 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please contact us before returning any item.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, dislike of scent after ordering, or minor natural variations inherent in hand-poured candles.
Refunds will only be issued in the following circumstances:
- Items damaged during transit (with photographic evidence submitted within 3 days)
- Incorrect items received
- Order lost in transit (confirmed by carrier)
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
